Create a SAC integration – Tekst

This guide goes over the steps to connect a SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration on the Tekst platform.

Tekst integrates with business intelligence tools through an Amazon Redshift connection. The necessary credentials can be generated by the customer - please refer to the relevant article for detailed instructions.

There are multiple ways to connect SAC to an AWS Redshift instance. This guide focuses on using SAP Datasphere as the integration method. However, alternative options such as CData Connect Cloud and APOS Live Data Gateway are also supported.

Datasphere setup

Log in with the right permissions on SAP Datasphere and go to the space where you would like to connect the SAC-Tekst connection.

1. Add a new connection (Redshift)

Navigate to the connection button and start the multi-step dialog to connect an AWS Redshift instance to this space.

If you can't find this feature: make sure this feature (AWS Redshift) is enabled in the connection configuration.

2. Fill in the relevant details to set up the Redshift connection
