View case information in the Tekst SidePanel

Besides Approval Forms, the Tekst SidePanel can enrich the item you have open with context from Tekst: what your models concluded about the message and what your automations pushed for it. This works the same whether you use the Tekst SidePanel as an Outlook app or as a browser extension.

What you see depends on how your organization has configured its models and automations. Typical content includes the sections below.

Analysis

The analysis at the top of the panel shows the insights and classifications for the item you have open: the tags your classification models assigned to the message. This tells you at a glance what the item is about and how Tekst routed or processed it.

If no model has produced a result for the item, this area shows No data.

Extracted entities

The Extraction tab lists what your extraction models found in the message, such as order numbers, customer references, or other fields your organization extracts. This saves you from searching through the message for the details you need.

Two messages can appear here instead of a list:

• No data - the message has not been analyzed, so there is nothing to show yet.
• No extraction model - no extraction model is linked to this integration, so nothing is being extracted. Your Tekst administrator can create or link one.

Pushed text and files

Automations can push information to the Tekst SidePanel for a specific item, for example a summary, customer details from another system, or a CSV file. Pushed files can be downloaded directly from the panel. These appear on the Actions tab, alongside any pending approvals.

Internal notes

You can add internal notes to an item from the Tekst SidePanel. Notes stay attached to the item in Tekst and are visible to colleagues who open it, which keeps handovers and context in one place. Notes can also be deleted from the panel.

Notes live on their own Notes tab. The tab appears once the item has a note, or as soon as you start writing the first one using Add internal note in the menu at the bottom-left of the panel. That same menu lets you copy the conversation ID, which is useful when contacting support about a specific item.

Live updates

The Tekst SidePanel refreshes automatically. If an automation finishes or a model result arrives while you have the item open, the new information appears without reloading. While processing is still in progress, the panel indicates that the automation is still running; if there is nothing to show for an item, it says so explicitly.
