Once an Outlook integration is connected, you can add extra mailboxes for Tekst to process. How you do this depends on the account type you connected.
- Organization-wide account: add child accounts. These are mailboxes across your tenant that Tekst reaches through the organization-wide access an administrator granted - no separate sign-in is needed for each one.
-
Personal account: add shared mailboxes. These are shared mailboxes the connected user already has access to. The personal account must have been connected with shared mailbox access enabled (the
mail.readwrite.sharedandmail.send.sharedpermissions).
If you have not connected an integration yet, set one up first:
Step 1: Open the integration's settings
Go to the Integrations page and open the Outlook integration you want to add mailboxes to.
Step 2: Add the mailboxes
- On an organization-wide account, open Child Accounts and add the mailbox addresses. You can also bulk-add several at once.
- On a personal account, open Shared Accounts and add the shared mailbox addresses.
Tekst adds each address in the background and checks that the connection has access to it.
Step 3: Confirm the connection
After adding a mailbox, confirm its status shows as connected.
Note: If a mailbox shows as Disconnected, the connected account does not have access to it. For a personal account, verify in your Microsoft 365 admin tools that the user has been granted access to the shared mailbox. For an organization-wide account, verify the mailbox is included in any application access policy that restricts Tekst.
